Adding content is the foundation of building your Moodle course. This includes uploading materials, adding interactive activities, and structuring weekly topics.
Steps
1. In your course, click Turn editing on (upper right corner).
2. Go to the desired section or topic where you want to add materials.
3. Click + Add an activity or resource.
4. From the Activity Chooser, select the desired tool type:
○ Activities: Interactive tools (e.g., Assignment, Quiz, Forum)
○ Resources: Content display tools (e.g., File, Page, Book)
5. Provide a Name (required) that will appear on the course page and in the Gradebook (if applicable).
6. Configure the settings, such as instructions, content, or availability dates.
7. Click Save and display or Save and return to course.
Tips and Notes
● Quick Upload: Drag and drop single files (like PDFs or PowerPoints) directly onto the course page while editing.
● Organization: Use the Folder resource to group multiple files and reduce scrolling.
● Navigation: Use the Book resource for long documents, allowing students to flip through pages easily.
● Formatting: Use the rich text editor to add headings, bold text, and lists to keep materials clean and readable.
